The channel of Bikertour is made up of a group of bikers who love the trips and spend the time riding their bikes in direct contact with nature.

The history of Cuban Bikertour has many decades of exercise, the oldest evidences in these practices appeared between 1917-1920 when initial groups of motorists and the brothers HARRIS BROS dealers of motorcycles promoted the trip on the old Real Road, today “Central Highway” we are speaking of the first decade of the XX Century in which the lovers of motorcyles in Cuba began to incentivate hunting on motorcycles and other activities related to nature toward different destinations the first Harley-Davidson with Sidecar. One of the clubs that began this movement was the Club Trotamundo, a group of adventurous motorists that followed this type of adventures in the thresholds of the Cuban motociclismo. As years went by, other Cuban adventurous motorists maintained these traditions making different trips, mounted on other marks of motorcycles toward other picturesque places of the island especially the Valley of Viñales and the Caves of Bellamar. Destinations where there exist infinity of caves, rivers and where one could camp, incentivating the sport motorcycling and the Speleology (science that studies the formation of caverns), another of the entertainments (hobbies) that began to be fomented attached to the motorcycling and that came to be part of Cubans lives.

The name of the outstanding dealer that organized these activities systematically was José Luis Bretos 1948 concessionaire of Harley in Havana, man that incentivated the mototourist activity organizedly in the nation, arriving to the west part of the island-end of the 50’s, time when many groups of young independent also carried it out.
At present, this entertainment is one of the followed by the motorists lovers of the trips and every day it is secured among those that we love the direct contact with nature, its fauna and flora. An example, is the vast experience MC-Travel, Moto Mundo, other Chapters and Cuban motorists’ clubs that practice it, and accompany them. And who have a moto-naturalistic or bikerstourist recordlike they are known in the world.
Journey in the 2009 MC Travel:
For many years now, different motorists from Spain, USA, Denmark, Poland, Switzerland, Canada and other countries have carried out trips next to the Cuban moteros along roads and highways toward different destinations.
February 18 th, 2009 the HARLEY-DAVIDSON began The 4th EVENT CLASSIC MOTOS – IN HAVANA, FEBRUARY 2009.
The start was carried out at 9:30 a.m. from the Hotel Palco Parking lot, with a stop to rest in what was the Cafeteria of the highway after the Hurricanes destroyed the previous Cafeteria. Later on, we climbed the Mountain range of the Organs, some mountains in which you can prove the acting of the motorcycles along beautiful landscapes until the tourist center The Moka, the visit to the River San Juan, lunch in the same place. A paradise where we appreciate the green landscape, the endemic birds, fish and the green reflections, blue of the transparent waters of the wonderful river. Later on, we left on motos until the Cradle of tobacco, the acquaintance Valley of Viñales place where the best tobacco in the world is harvested.

Return to Havana of Harley Owners Group -HOG -, visit to the Hotel Lincoln (room in which Juan Manuel Fangio was put up).

- Travel to the Valley of Viñales: Start to Pinar del Río at 9:00 o’clock a.m. Cafeteria Machurrucutu, Highway, stop at the Cafeteria on the Highway, with a good one climb to the mountain range in which we can prove the acting of our motorcycles on the road until the tourist center The Moka, visit the River San Juan, lunch in the same place. Realization of the activities of the Cuban Sustainable Motociclismo (pickup of waste, care of the environment). Later on, start in the afternoon on our motos until the cradle of tobacco, the acquaintance Valle de Viñales, visit to the CulturalCenter Polo Montañez at night and 2 nights rest in the Campsite or Town of Viñales and in the morning of the third day return to Habana…
