Modelism:

The first evidences of objects modeled by man have their origins in primitive communities, when the first inhabitants of the Earth used different materials such as: stones, sticks and bones to form the first objects and rudimentary tools of: hunting, fishing, defense against prehistoric tribes and animals.

The primitive models of Canoas were used by the first settlers of the Caribbean islands and America for transportation, hunting, fishing in the rivers and seas of the Caribbean.

Modeling, or model making, is a hobby that has its roots in the early days of aviation and was a widely used technique for modeling, testing aircraft designs in the 20th century. Currently, with the development of computing and digital design, it is fundamentally modeled with specialized modeling software, although the scale model is still used to measure different parameters that cannot be measured by computer systems.

The earliest records of a drone model date back to Egyptian culture and consisted of pigeons capable of soaring. But the first recorded powered aircraft is known as the Planophore, a model designed by the Frenchman Alphonse Pénaud in 1871.

This hobby of modeling has two fundamental aspects oriented to the formation of a static model and another of a controlled type. The size of the models varies according to the interests of their designers and the objectives of their construction.

Dynamic: scale models that are moved and steered by remote control, such as airplanes and vehicles. Here fans seek to maneuver the model in the most skillful way and achieve maximum control of the device.

Static: Scale models with great detail whose purpose is to appreciate them without movement. For amateurs or professionals of static modeling, each model represents a "museum piece" thus creating their own private collections that can have different themes: historical warfare, civil engineering, science fiction, etc. Here fans seek to represent the most realistic possible form of the original scale model. For the latter, it is incorrect to consider static scale models as toys.

TYPES OF MODELS:

Aquatic models:

It includes Sailboats, Boats, Boats with the ability to float or navigate on water that use the sails, the energy of the wind to move, also include the devices that move by or an electric or internal combustion motor controlled remotely by a radio control.

Underwater models:

Includes: Submarines, immersion robots & drone are systems capable of navigating underwater that can be manned or unmanned. These systems have mechanisms capable of guaranteeing the immersion and the exit to the surface of these devices controlled remotely by cables or remote communication systems.

Spatial models:

The realization of expository spatial models (pleasure of the sight) is possibly one of the oldest techniques in the field of Modeling. Currently this technique is highly developed with the formation of plastic scale models.

Terrestrial models:

Railway modeling: Within the terrestrial modeling we have the railway modeling that includes the formation of Trains with movement on rails by steam, internal combustion or electric engines located in set scenarios.

Truck modeling: Includes the conformation of trucks, heavy machinery made to scale and that can be motorized or developed to be controlled remotely.

Flying models:

Aeromodelling: It has its origins closely linked to aviation (construction of airplanes) and other flying objects such as gliders and helicopters controlled by cable or radio control.

The materials used to form the models are mainly: wood, resin, metals, glass, plastics, rubber, paper, cardboard. Aircraft modeling has always been a favorite prototype for those who follow these entertainments and use balsa wood, glue, paper, fabric and paint etc.

The dimensions of the flying models vary, from limited purged to feet wingspan, their mass can be from a few grams to hundreds of pounds. Flight models include free-flying balloons, gliders, airplanes, helicopters, and firecrackers, as well as radio-controlled models designed for indoor and outdoor use.

In the late 70's and early 80's I built other more aerodynamic, fast and acrobatic prototypes with different engines, perhaps the most precious to me is the blue one that has a Jena DDR engine, with which I was able to perform many stunts. and also, swooping it into the ground sometimes as it often happens to modellers.
